Side mount seat mounts - Race seat mounting is NEVER easy, and rarely a quick job. There are some very good seat mounts on the market these days, but many times, they still leave much to be desired. Many of you could just as easily make your own seat mount but side mounted seats make it difficult to get the positioning correct.
 
Use our weldable side mounts to make your own mounting system using square or round tubing. Our side mounts are cut from 3/16" steel with slotted adjustments for the front mount, 1/2" spacing between the four slots and 1.5" total height adjustment. Rear mounts are standard oversized bolt holes to accept 8mm or 5/16" bolts. Simply bolt them to the seat, fab up your tube to fit the mounts, tack it all together, test fit the seat in the car and weld them up solid. It'll still take way longer than you think BUT you will get the seat where you want it, and not have to hack up that $100+ seat mount to make it work.

These parts have been developed during various project builds at Izzy's. The parts were developed and tweaked for best final fitment on in house projects.
 
Unless noted, parts are shipped flat. When applicable, parts will have pre cut bend lines that are easily formed with a good vise and a 1 lb hammer. Simply prep the weld areas to bare clean metal, hammer form (or use a press brake) and weld up the cut lines once installation is complete. These are NOT bolt on parts. They will require some fabrication skills and tools to install.
 
Some trimming of edges may be necessary due to production line variances or prior chassis damage/repair.
