The latest project at Izzy's is our own road racing Mazda RX7. The car was bought recently with tons of good suspension parts and go-fast goodies but a typical bolt in cage. The cage pads were completed on 12/22. As of 12/30, the main hoop, front downbars, "knee-bar", "headache" bar and rear hoop braces have been tacked in. The cage fabrication was completed on 1/5/04. The bars will all be removed to prep for paint and prep the weld areas before final welding. For more pictures of the cage installation, click here.
