Izzy's Custom Cages - Dodge Neon ACR ITA Cage
This 1995 Neon is being campaigned by Izzy's owner Scott & his brother Steve. It's a former SSC car and has been a racer it's entire existance. (shop camera took a beating during the build... sorry for the B/W pics).
1.75x.095 was used for all required bars. 1.5x.095 was used for non required but structural bars and 1.5x.065 for the rear triangulation and gusset bars. The result saved 18 lbs over a completely 1.75x.095 cage. The estimated weight of the cage and pads is 133 lbs. with the actual cage weighing in at just under 110 lbs.
