This 1999 Miata cage was built for a mid 10 second street Miata. The owner builds monster turbo kits for Mazda Miata's and brought the car to us right after pulling the motor.
The cage was constructed using a main hoop to the floor using 1.75"x.134 wall DOM tubing to meet NHRA specs. The rear hoop braces and dash bar are 1.5"x.120 and the doorbars are 1.625"x.125 tube.
The cage was completed in just over 3.5 weeks, with some downtime for tool malfunctions.
