    • St. Louis Region SCCA member Jeff Seelig brought us his Honda S2000 project for a full cage installation for competition in ITR. Weight was not a factor in the build as the S2K's weight for the class is a hefty 3005 lbs ... well over the stock curb weight. A mix of various tubing sizes were used to put weight where we needed it, while keeping the design of the cage symetrical.

    The rear triangulation solved two problems. The fuel tank "bubble" on the S2000 is directly in the path of any type of crossbar between the two rear hoop pads when the bars pick up the suspension loads. Also, we wanted to be sure that the owner was able to access the fuel pump should there ever be a need to replace it.
