This RX7is being built to compete in the F Prepared class in SCCA Solo.
The cage was first assembled to test fit all of the elements for the best fit and assembly. Once the entire cage was built, it was taken back apart and welded. The sill bars were added to the original design to meet the upcoming 07 cage rules.
The cage uses 1.75"x.095 DOM throughout with 1/8" plate material for the pads. The chassis was very well prepped for the cage work which allowed for a one week turnaround.
