The roll bar in the M Coupe uses 1.75x.120 wall DOM. The tube joints were all TIG welded. Access holes were cut into the factory interior panels to make shock adjustments/changes quick and easy, othewise, it's 2.5 hours to remove/replace the interior to adjust the shocks.
Z3's and M Coupes are known to have an issue with stress cracks and popped spot welds on the rear crossmember. We've replace the factory crossmeber with 2 pieces of 1.25x2.5" steel tubing.

Another project for the M Coupe was the fabrication of a set of wing mounts. They had to be removable, not mount to the body and fit a predesigned E36 wing.
