Izzy's Custom Cages - E30 325i Street/Track Car
This BMW 325i came to us for a 4 point rollbar for open track days with the BMWCCA as well as other sanctioning bodies, and was built to satisfy as many rule sets as possible. The owner wanted to retain the stock rear seat and keep the interior as unmolested as possible.
With the tight fit that was achieved with this rollbar, the Main hoop and Rear downbars were fabricated, tacked together for final fit, broken down, painted and then reinstalled for final welding.
Some modifications to the rear seat back edges were required to fit the seat. The rear shock towers were reinforced and tied into the rear hoop brace pads (which tie into both horizontal and vertical panels).
