Izzy's Custom Cages
The following pictures are of a weld in cage built for a 70's BMW 2002 for a customer in California. The cage is being built from the customers measurements and test fitted in a local 2002 to make sure that it's the best fit possible. All bar ends will be left .75" long in order for the customer to cut to fit.
The total cost of the 6 point, SCCA legal cage with optional offset harness bar, front crossbar and rear diagonal was $850 ($50 crate charge refunded upon return of crate).
The 4 Point Rollbar below is in Geoff T's beautiful '02. It's TIG welded with boxed pads and a rear diagonal. Take a close look at the bulkhead pass-throughs.
